The parish of St Keyne & Trewidland was created in May 2021 following a two year review of local government boundaries. The parish is warded (divided for electoral purposes) into two parts: St Keyne ward, and Trewidland ward. Parish councillors are committed in their work for the benefit of all residents. St Keyne lies on the edge of the Looe valley between the parishes of Liskeard (to the north and east) and Duloe (to  the south and west). It is one of the smallest parishes in the country. In the 16th century it consisted of one estate, Lametton, which  in 1911 was divided into separate lots and sold to individual buyers.

Trewidland (Cornish: Trewythelan) is a hamlet in east Cornwall and is approximately two miles north east of Duloe. It is situated in the Looe Valley which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is made up of approximately 50 dwellings which comprise of homes and farms, with approximately 80 outlying properties. The Hamlet has a Primary School, Snooker Club, Community Group and Horse Livery. The Village Hall (1933) which is at the centre of Trewidland has regular activities, Dog Training, Jujitsu Club, Badminton plus a Post Office. Also a stage for shows and presentations.

St Keyne Lawn Cemetery

The Lawn Cemetery was opened in 1991 and provides burial space for St Keyne and Trewidland residents. It is operated by the parish council. There are 144 grave sites and 60 memorial plots. Follow this link for more information about the Cemetery or telephone the parish clerk on 01579 342437.
